Is a Assurance Scan a medical ultrasound?
No, this is a non-diagnostic, elective scan. It's for bonding and peace of mind only and doesn't replace the medical scans ordered by your midwife or doctor to check on your due date or specific pregnancy symptoms.
What will I get to see?
You'll see your baby in 2D and potentially a 3D/4D glimpse, depending on their position. We will focus on confirming the baby's heartbeat, showing you fetal movement, and giving you overall visual reassurance.
Is it different from a Gender Reveal scan?
Yes. While we might be able to see the gender, the primary focus of this scan is purely on reassurance and checking the baby's general well-being, not a detailed gender reveal.
